Dr. Monique Weldon
Dr. Monique Weldon has always been very passionate about animals and decided in high school to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2003. After graduating, Dr. Weldon went into general practice for seven years before starting her own veterinary hospital from the ground up. Providing high quality medicine and personalized medicine has always been her goal. Loving Family Animal Hospital went on to become AAHA accredited within ten months of opening and earning the distinguished award of AAHA Hospital of the Year in 2017. While being sole owner of Loving Family Animal Hospital, Dr. Weldon also started the Animal Dental Clinic and ran both hospitals. Dr. Weldon has focused heavily on training and Continuing Education in the dental field for the last 19yrs. She has a passion for dentistry and oral surgery.
Dr. Weldon has since retired from general practice and is a Veterinary Dental Practitioner providing affordable, high-quality dentistry to dogs and cats in Colorado. She believes dental care should be part of regular wellness care. Dr. Weldon also helps many local animal rescues by providing high-quality dentistry before adoption. She is constantly helping students with clinic rotations and internships to learn more about dentistry and anesthesia at her facility. Continuing education is huge for her and her staff, and providing opportunities to grow is so important for the team.
Dr. Weldon is a Colorado native. When she is not caring for your pets, she is busy traveling, singing, playing with her kids, bowling, watching the Broncos or Rockies, camping/hiking, and spending as much time with family as she can.

In 2015, I made a big change in my life by moving from Maryland to Colorado. A few years later I decided to start school to be a veterinary technician at the Community College of Denver. In 2020, I ended up doing my internship at The Animal Dental Clinic and loved it so much that I got hired the following year. Anesthesia and Dentistry soon became two of my favorite subjects. I strive to learn something each day so that I can improve my skills and help provide the best dental care to our patients and clients. I love seeing all our patients, but cats hold a special place in my heart. When not working I relax by listening to K-pop, watching anime, dancing, reading webtoons, and traveling.

Sue was born in the great state of Virginia, grew up in Texas, and owned her own business in California.
She decided late in life to change her career track and devote her life to helping animals. Two years of vet tech school led her to her dream, and she has spent 20 years working with Dr. Weldon in the animal care field. During her journey, she found that she enjoyed providing excellent client care and moved into the receptionist role. She was very excited about following Dr. Weldon to her new dental practice five years ago and helping clients learn what an important role dental care plays in the health of their pets.
She enjoys reading and spending lots of time with her three grandkids, her husband Ross and Ripley, her adorable Chihuahua.
Amy is a Colorado native and grew up in Commerce City. She left banking to work with your kiddos as a receptionist a year ago.
