Dr. Monique Weldon

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Monique Weldon has always been very passionate about animals and decided in high school to pursue a degree in Veterinary Medicine. She earned her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2003. After graduating, Dr. Weldon went into general practice for seven years before starting her own veterinary hospital from the ground up. Providing high quality medicine and personalized medicine has always been her goal. Loving Family Animal since went on to become AAHA accredited within 10months of opening and earning the distinguished award of AAHA Hospital of the year in 2017. While being sole owner of Loving Family Animal Hospital, Dr. Weldon also started the Animal Dental Clinic and ran both hospitals. Dr. Weldon has focused heavily in training and Continuing Education in the dental field for the last 19yrs. She has a passion for dentistry and oral surgery.

Dr. Weldon has since retired from general practice and is a Veterinary Dental Practioner providing affordable, high-quality dentistry to dogs and cats in Colorado. She believes dental care should be part of regular wellness care. Dr. Weldon also helps many local animal rescues by providing high quality dentistry prior to adoption. She is constantly helping students with clinic rotations and internships to learn more on dentistry and anesthesia at her facility. Continuing education is huge for her and her staff and providing opportunity to grow is so important for the team.

Dr. Weldon is a Colorado native. She currently lives with her two rescue dogs, Paige and Avalanche. When she is not caring for your pets, she is busy singing, playing with her kids, bowling, watching the Broncos or Rockies, camping/hiking, and spending as much time with family that she can.

Marta

Veterinary Assistant

In 2015, I made a big change in my life by moving from Maryland to Colorado. A few years later I decided to start school to be a veterinary technician at the Community College of Denver. In 2020, I ended up doing my internship at The Animal Dental Clinic and loved it so much that I got hired the following year. Anesthesia and Dentistry soon became two of my favorite subjects. I strive to learn something each day so that I can improve my skills and help provide the best dental care to our patients and clients. I love seeing all our patients, but cats hold a special place in my heart. When not working I relax by listening to K-pop, watching anime, dancing, reading webtoons, and traveling.

Erin

Certified Veterinary Technician

Erin is a Colorado native. She was born in Aurora and grew up in Park Hill. Erin has two amazing kids, Taylor and Brady, and currently has 3 dogs: a Miniature Australian Shepherd (Kansas), a Toy Australian Shepherd (Camo), and a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier (Duffy). Erin also has 2 horses, Bob the Bay and Smokey the Gray.

Erin has always wanted to help animals. She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in December 2017. Erin loves everything that dentistry has to offer, and she is excited to start focusing on that part of the veterinary world.

When not working, Erin loves to ride horses, go camping, hike, spend time with family, dance, explore new places, hang out in the small mountain towns, and travel.
